The Aster Bench grew out of a memory of the woods where I grew up in New England, places that always felt both alive and suspended in time. I wanted to capture that feeling of a landscape caught between seasons, green yet frozen, structured yet wild. The legs twist like vines that have turned to leather mid-growth, while the soft upholstery echoes the quiet nature of moss, water, and shadow. It’s about that tension I’ve always loved, where something natural meets something made and still feels a little untamed.
