The Aster Bench grew out of a memory of the woods where I grew up in New England, places that always felt both alive and suspended in time. I wanted to capture that feeling of a landscape caught between seasons, green yet frozen, structured yet wild. The cast bronze legs twist like vines that have turned to metal mid-growth, while the patterned upholstery echoes the quiet geometry of moss, bark, and shadow. It’s about that tension I’ve always loved, where something natural meets something made and still feels a little untamed.
